Hazard Analysis And Critical Control Points (HACCP) For Edible Bird's Nest Processing

HACCP is a health management system which helps to address food safety.The system is implemented at all stages of food preparation processes and production, including packaging and distribution. HACCP will be issued by SIRIM (Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) and certified by Ministry Of Health.


Veterinary Health Mark (VHM) Certification For Edible Bird's Nest  


The VHM (Veterinary Health Mark) Certificate is quality symbol which is awarded to the livestock product processing plant under the Veterinary Inspection and Accreditation Program Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) Ministry of Agriculture Malaysia. The VHM Certification will ensure that the processing plants has fulfill the minimum standard requirement for good hygiene and sanitation. The focus plant inspection by DVS is on food safety, quality control and adherence of good manufacturing programs.

Provision Of Export Documents For Bird's Nests

The relevant export documents required are health certificate, certificate of origin and export permit.
